Dear Rich,thank you for your excellent site, which has changed my way of running. I have a question.Runners often do compound workouts, e.g.,3 x (800meter at 5K pace +1600 meter at 10k pace+2′ rest).Have compounds a role in six paces training?For instance, can the above workout be considered “valid” for both 5k and 10k paces? Is there a physiological justification for compounds? Best,Pier
